Production animal management medicine has been a special interest at CTVH for 30 years. Our goal is to meet the production demands of our producers through quality preventative care, aggressive herd investigation and problem management. Our team is focused on providing excellent bovine health care and recommendations. We can provide herd health plans, health calendars, parasite prevention programs, biosecurity plans, herd investigations and medical directives.
CTVH also offers complete female reproductive care including heifer reproductive tract scoring, serum pregnancy testing, arms free ultrasound, fetal sexing, semen AI and Embryo transfer. Bulls receive a complete breeding soundness exam (all our veterinarians are members of the Society of Theriogenology), full health care and diagnostic testing.
CTVH utilizes a modern bovine hospital with an obstetric chute and a hydraulic chute. The facility has four large stalls for hospitalized patients and a full in house lab. The Hospital provides mobile care 24 hours a day as well as scheduled farm visits and in house exams.
